Volunteering is a rewarding experience

Volunteers are critical to our mission.

We organize more than 9,000 volunteer hours annually.

Caring volunteers provide nutritious meals with homeless guests. They provide a listening ear and a loving heart when they take the time to sit and talk with guests. Networking with members of the community is a big advantage for our homeless families. They garner strength and encouragement and often secure new opportunities for employment through the vast network of volunteers who support the mission. Volunteers also sleep overnight at each host location. Volunteering as a sleeper is one of the easiest ways to “serve others” as you sleep! “Office angels” volunteer for answering phones or helping with mailings. Our volunteers also assist with fundraising events.
